Program Rules
As a Vitacost Refer-a-Friend Program Member, you may be eligible to receive referral credit(s) for introducing a friend or family member to Vitacost.com. Limit one account per person.

How it works

To be eligible for a referral credit:
You must be a Vitacost Refer-a-Friend Program Member,
You must refer a friend or family member ("referee") who has never shopped at Vitacost.com, and
The referee must sign up to become a Vitacost Refer-a-Friend Program Member at Vitacost.com by agreeing to the terms AND make their first purchase at Vitacost.com within 30 days of being referred.

Redeeming rewards

After referral credit eligibility has been verified, you will receive an email notification with information about your credit and how to redeem it for a Vitacost.com promo code, which you can use to save on your order at Vitacost.com.The following rules apply to promo codes generated through the Vitacost Refer-a-Friend Program:
• Refer-a-Friend promo codes are available in multiples of $10; you may redeem any available amount up to a maximum of $100.
• To use your promo code, your order must total $30 or more before taxes, shipping and discount.
• Promo codes are one-time-use; you must use the full value of a code on one order.
• Promo codes are NOT valid for BOGO discounted items or certain brands - visit vitacost.com/exclusions for the full list of excluded brands.
• BOGO discounted items and excluded brands do not count toward the $30 minimum purchase requirement.
• Third-party cash back and credit points are NOT valid with promo codes.
• Promo codes are valid only at vitacost.com.
• Promo codes are valid 60 days from the date they are issued.

If the value of the credit exceeds the value of the product purchased in the transaction, the unused portion of the credit will be forfeited. There will be no refunds or balances maintained for partially used credits.

Vitacost does not permit Members to:

• Purchase advertisements, such as Google Adwords, linking to Vitacost using a referral link;
• In any way trick or deceive customers into clicking a referral link without their knowledge;
• Use the Vitacost trademark in a manner not consistent with the Program’s Terms and Conditions;
• Sell referral codes or "how-to" guides;
• Use referral codes to purchase any products from Vitacost.com for resale; or
• Exploit the Program or assist other Members or referees in exploiting the Program.

Members committing any of the above prohibited conduct may, at Vitacost.com's sole discretion, receive a courtesy notification that they are in violation of the Program's terms and conditions. Repeated or wanton abuse of the Program will result in a Member's disqualification from the program. In the event a Member uses referral code(s) to make purchases on Vitacost.com for resale, Member shall be immediately disqualified, and Member shall be liable to Vitacost for the referral code(s) value used.
